What’s up guys! We are officially one game into the conference finals, and we had an absolutely crazy game 1 of the eastern conference finals. The Knicks had a double digit lead with 3 minutes left, and a 9 point lead with under a minute left, and somehow managed to lose the game. What’s up guys! I am short myself, so I’m always rooting for an undersized player to succeed. But seeing the Cavs & Knicks get bounced out of the 2025 playoffs, and them having Mitchell & Brunson as their #1’s, it got me thinking…. Are NBA teams making a mistake in building their team around small guards? I took a look at the current NBA to get this answer, I also looked at things through a historical lense as well. We just saw the OKC Thunder win the NBA Finals in June, beating the Indiana Pacers in 7 games. Not only did both of those teams make the Finals, they also have something else in common… Paul George. It’s been a really rough year for Alvin Kamara, and if you have him in fantasy, it’s been ugly. But I’ve been telling you guys all year that it’s not a talent decline issue with Kamara, it’s his situation!
